Sonic AI Documentation

Welcome to Sonic AI

Sonic AI is a creative workflow platform for writing, storyboarding, text-to-speech, dubbing, analytics, and in-product guidance. These docs now prioritize the current app behavior over generic marketing claims.

Operational Reference

This section summarizes the behavior currently enforced by the app: plan access, credits, and runtime constraints that affect real usage.

Free

20 credits / month

AI Writer, Storyboard, AI Chat, and a standard subset of TTS voices.

No AI Dubbing, no Trends analytics workspace, one workspace.

Pro

500 credits / month

Premium writer lane, HD TTS voices, and AI Dubbing.

One workspace, but still no Trends analytics workspace.

Elite

2,000 credits / month

Everything in Pro plus Trends analytics, ultra voice access, and team workspaces.

Up to five workspaces with advanced analytics.

Current Runtime Notes

  • AI Chat uses the deployment's configured server-side provider and stores thread history for the signed-in user.
  • AI Writer currently deducts 1 credit per generation request, even if you stop reading the stream early.
  • Storyboard currently estimates 2 credits for text-only generation and 6 credits when image generation is enabled in the UI.
  • Text to Speech currently deducts 1 credit per synthesis and filters the voice catalog by plan tier.
  • AI Dubbing is limited to Pro and Elite, bills by started minute, and enforces a 500 MB / 60 minute upload limit.
  • Trend Discovery is currently an Elite-only analytics workspace rather than a free tool.

Design Philosophy

Sonic AI is built around the principle of augmented creativity: the tooling should compress production time while keeping the operator in control. The docs follow the same rule and now favor exact product behavior over inflated promises.

Multilingual First

Writing, speech, and dubbing workflows support multilingual production, but exact catalogs depend on the connected provider and your plan.

Privacy by Default

Your content, history, and preferences are scoped to your authenticated account and stored through the app's backend.

Immediate Feedback

Writer streams responses, TTS returns playable output quickly, and the rest of the workflow is designed around short iteration loops.
